Since childhood he liked to imitate his favorite artists in the living room of his house with his neighbor and friend Aintzane Rebollo, which led him to dream of forming his own band someday. At the age 14, he debuted in TVE, on the musical program called Rock out, with which he was introduced to the public. Aware that this institute did not appeal, he began developing his studies at the prestigious Drama School Cristina Rota, wich provided him with his first jobs as a stage actor. Later, Dani decided to attend another school considered as flagship training for actors called: William Layton. From his training as an actor, Dani Martin has developed numerous works as a film actor, among which include his role in Sirens of Fernando Leon de Aranoa, No Shame by Joaquín Oristrell Auger Carlos Villaverde, Manuel Sanabria, and Yo soy la Juani de Bigas Luna. He was also added as an actor in theatrical works and in TV series such as Countdown, After school, police, Raquel for your site, Petra Delicado, Seven lives or Central Hospital, Los hombres de Paco or small role in the movie Broken Embraces, directed by Pedro Almodovar. Since 2000, Dani Martin combines his work as head of the Spanish pop group El Canto del Loco, with its forays into film and television. Between 2007-2008 he starred in a series for television called Four Countdown, in which he played the impulsive police chief inspector paul corso. It contained two seasons and eventually the series was not renewed because Dani Martin wanted to leave to devote himself completely to the group El Canto del Loco.[1] Daní is considered by many Spaniards to take the impressive attributes of Julio Iglesias and Enrique Iglesias, and mix them together to form one of the greatest Spanish musicians to grace the world.

He was born on 19 February 1977 in Alcobendas, a city in the province of Madrid.

As he was not a really good student, he started to work with his father and, at the same time, he began to study at the Drama School William Layton. Later, Dani decided to attend prestigious Drama School Cristina Rota, where he got his first jobs as a stage actor. The first time he appeared on television was with Martes y 13 in a show prepared for New Year's Eve. Then, he presented a program called Ponte las Pilas.

He has acted in several films, such as Sirenas by Fernando Leon de Aranoa, Sin vergüenza by Joaquín Oristrell, Auger Carlos Villaverde, Manuel Sanabria, and Yo soy la Juani by Bigas Luna. Club career

Born in Las Palmas, Canary Islands, Martín joined UD Las Palmas' youth setup in 2005, aged eight. He made his senior debut with the C-team during the 2015–16 season, in the regional leagues.

Martín was definitely promoted to the reserves in Segunda División B ahead of the 2018–19 campaign, but was only sparingly used. On 20 July 2019, he signed a new one-year deal with the club, and became a regular starter for the B's afterwards.

Martín made his first team debut on 17 November 2019, starting in a 1–2 away loss against CD Mirandés in the Segunda División championship. On 31 August 2021, he moved to Segunda División RFEF side Calvo Sotelo Puertollano CF.
