Roshni Rastogi is a TV actor who has been known in the small screen world. She hails from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Her schooling and college was accomplished from this place only. During her college days, she used to be very much active in plays and was also attached to several theatre groups. In fact, before entering into the small screen world, she had done the theatres for around five long years. She then shifted to Mumbai wherein she learnt acting and groomed her acting skills at the known acting and dance institute – Sahejmoodra Acting Academy.

Soon she got the chance to work in a TV serial called Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon followed by another called Crazy Stupid Ishq. Currently she is playing a joint lead role in the Star Plus channel based TV serial called Mere Angne Mein, which is giving her all rounds of applauds.

As said she has a sizeable amount of experience in acting in theatre groups, which has even fetched her National Award. Her character of Rani in Mere Angne Mein has made her popular in the TV audiences. Though her parents never wanted to choose the line of acting yet she managed to convince them and reach out to the dream city of Mumbai to get into her passion of acting.
