Pushpa Impossible actress Garima Parihar on how she balances work and personal life: I spend time with my family and give them my full attention on my day off
What do you think about Pushpa Impossible as a show and the character that you are playing? What was your reaction when you were approached?
Pushpa Impossible is a show that encourages people from all genders to live optimistically, surviving against obstacles in front of them. This show demonstrates impressive courage and determination through Pushpa, who struggles throughout to support her children after her husband is absconding. She never gave up in the face of adversity, and this same energy is passed on to our audience. When I was approached by the makers of the show to do the character of Dipti, I was excited. For a long time, I was engaged in negative roles, and I wished to do something positive like the current role of Dipti. The character of Dipti is bright, mature and has clarity about life. I am happy about doing this character since her maturity really teaches me a lot about handling situations. Undoubtedly, I am growing as an actor in this role and more as a human being.
The pairing on-screen is fantastic but tell us, how is your chemistry with Naveen (Ashwin) off the camera?
Naveen is a very supportive person and a gentleman at heart. We enjoy each other’s company a lot, and we have this understanding which creates the bond so realistically on the set. Before action, we are given some time to discuss our scenes, especially when
As Makar Sankranti approaches, it brings with it the warmth of togetherness, the joy of cherished traditions, and the promise of fresh beginnings. Aditya Redij, who essays the role of King Krishnadevaraya in Tenali Rama says- “Makar Sankranti is a special festival in our culture, symbolizing gratitude and fresh starts. As an actor, life is often busy, but I try to follow some traditions whenever I can. I remember watching my elders bathe before sunrise, a practice that keeps me connected to my roots. Now, as a father, I want to slowly introduce these traditions to my son. Even though he’s too young to understand, I hope small moments like flying kites or sharing Tilgud will help him appreciate our culture as he grows. Festivals like Sankranti are about bonding, sharing, and creating lasting memories. No matter how busy life gets, they remind us to take a pause and celebrate our heritage.”

Krishna Bharadwaj, who essays the role of Tenali in Tenali Rama says- “Makar Sankranti is such a beautiful reminder of our rich traditions and cultural roots. Growing up, Makar Sankranti was all about flying kites, and it filled me with joy. But now, as I’ve grown, I’ve realized that it’s important to be mindful of our feathered friends, so I prefer not to fly kites anymore. Instead, I cherish the small, intimate get-to

Ganesh Chaturthi marks the beginning of the festivities and one can see the joy of it around. Actress Garima Parihar, who plays the role of Deepti in Pushpa Impossible, also loves celebrating Ganesh Utsav but she makes sure to keep the environment safe.
The actress further adds, "I totally believe in eco-friendly Ganesh idols and also promote it around me. I also urge everyone else to do the same as it is our belief in God and it shouldn't necessarily be made of items that harm our environment.
The actress talks about the side effects of using POP Ganesha Idols. "Every year when I watch videos about the negative effects of using POP idols, it breaks my heart. Especially during visarjan, when they don’t dissolve completely in water and harm aquatic life. I believe it's essential to spread awareness about eco-friendly practices, and as actors, we have the power to influence many people. By adopting these practices ourselves, we can set an example and encourage others to follow, significantly impacting the community and the environment. I prioritize sustainability over personal satisfaction which can lead to greater overall benefits," says Garima.
