Sahil Vaid is a voiceover artist and recently bagged a role in ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ that had Alia Bhat and Varun Dhawan in the lead. The actor Sahil Vaid got recognized for his performance. His screen personality and even his character were appreciated in this movie by audiences. Sahil was born in Tamil Nadu but raised in Delhi. Since his father was an engineer, he also got enrolled for engineering course and completed his degree. Simultaneously, he had persuaded to take up another degree too in Mass Communication and Journalism thinking it would help him in a career of acting.
His family had wanted him to join Army, and when he was about to join army simultaneously, he also got an offer to take up the course in Subhash Ghai’s ‘Whistling Woods International Institute’, which is a film, communication and media arts institute located in Mumbai. But the institute had been charging exorbitant fees of Rs.12 lakhs for two years that his family could not approve then. But actor to Naseeruddin Shah held a talk with Shail Vaid’s father and requested him to get enrolled in the Institute. That is how he got a chance to learn to act. When he was studying at the film institute, he got a chance to act in Bhavna Talwar's 'Happi'. Soon, he got an offer to act in a serial ‘Fauji 2’ which was a sequel to Shah Rukh Khan’s debut serial, but the project got shelved after few days of shooting. Luckily, Naseeruddin Shah had cast him in a play.
Following that, he also acted in Life Ok’s Savdhaan India. He also acted in a few more plays and soon got the offer in the film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’. Soon, he will also be seen in another film where he has a bad character to play.

What’s Good: The procedural part of a crime investigation is deftly shown. This includes how the police correlate observation and thought with evidence and forensic angles. The performances are more than competent and there is a tangible atmosphere in most of the film. I also liked the unexpected turns that come at periodic intervals and the way the villain’s unrepentant character is presented.
What’s Bad: The script not only meanders in places but, more importantly, incorporates silly gaffes and flaws that could have been completely eliminated by some basic thinking. The post-climactic sequence where the cops are discussing the case jars...
