    Belén Fraga, portrayed by Romina Yan, is a main character and adult protagonist of the First Story (season 1, 2, 3 and 4) of Chiquititas.

    After Belén's storyline ended, she was replaced by three different characters in Chiquititas's following seasons. Her role is taken by Ana Pizarro (Grecia Colmenares) in Season Five, Luz Liñares (Romina Gaetani) in Season Six, and Mili Urién (Agustina Cherri), a former Chiquitita who returned for the show's final season.

    Choosing Romina Yan for the Role[]

    Romina Yan was already working in television with children television. Romina Yan's first appearance on Argentine television came during 1991, when the then sixteen-year-old appeared as a dancer in a show named Jugate Conmigo ("Come Play With Me"), hosted by her mother Cris Morena, alongside Michel Brown (Tomy), Luciano Castro (Tano), and Trinidad Alcorta (Clarita).     Luz Linaresportrayed by Romina Gaetani, is a main character and protagonist of the Second Story(Season 6) of Chiquititas.

    History[]

    Luz was a waitress at a local diner who's owner owed her money and made inappropriate advances towards her. After owing the owner of her flat two months of rent she decides to flee, however the owner decides to call the police. In an attempt to flee she hides inside a trunk which ends up falling right outside the Rincón de Luz manor.

    There, she meets the chufos for the first time, who were also trying to flee the police and the ghosts and monster haunting the manor. She convinces the chufos to go back inside and discover that a man named Enzo was behind the hauntings, she also figures out he's not the real owner of the manor and therefore can't kick them out.

    Personality and Traits[]

    Luz is very irresponsible and carefree, however after meeting the chufos she develops a sense of responsibility and levelheadedness. She slowly becomes their mother figure, much to the dismay of Camila.

    Enzo

    Enzo pretended to have a love interest in Luz in order to cover for his master, Rafael, who's actually in love with her. She however, admits that while she has no feelings for Enzo she loves his colorful and outrageous personality

    Camila

    Camila and Luz did not get along at first. Camila became jealous of Luz when she noticed that the chufos kept going to her for help and advice instead. After saving her from death the two start bonding.

    Rafael

    Rafael is deeply in love of Luz. It could be argued that it was love at first sight. At first he wants to get rid of the orphans but keep Luz, he however realizes he has to keep both in the manor in order for her to stay. Given how easily he gets angered, it should come to no surprise that he gets jealous

    Romina Gaetani (born April 15, 1977) is an Argentine actress, TV host and singer.

    Biography

    Romina Gaetani was born on April 15, 1977, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her mother is Maria Flamini and her father was the producer Carlos Hugo Gaetani, who died in 2014. She has also a brother named Leonardo who is an architect. From an early age Romina demonstrated her interest in acting, so she enrolled herself in the theater institute Andamio 90, in the acting career, during four years. She studied her secondary years in the institute of Santa Ana de Villa Ballester, in the north zone of the Gran Buenos Aires.

    Career

    Her first role on television was in the unitary Verdad consecuencia in the year 1998. Her acting debut in the theater was in the musical comedy El rey David in the role of Betsabé and directed by the director Pepe Cibrián Campoy, in the year 1998. That same year she joined the cast of the telenovela Verano del '98, in the role of Carla. In the year 2000 her first leading role came in the sixth season of Chiquititas in the role of Luz Linares. She participated in the soundtrack and theatrical season of the cycle in Teatro Gran Rex. The following year she was counterfigure of Facundo Arana and Gianella Neyra in the Telefe telenovela, Yago, pasión morena. She continued acting in Mil millones and in the year 2003 she was the protagonist of the telenovela of Pol-Ka Soy gitano. Along with Dady Brieva starred Los secretos de papá since the second half of 2004. Then she acted in the Argentine version of Amas de casa desesperadas.
