Jung Jihoon (정지훈), popularly known as Rain, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, producer, businessman, and actor under his self-established agency Rain Company. He made his debut as a soloist on May 13, 2002 with his first album N001. Over the years following his debut, he became one of the most popular and influential singer and actor in South Korea. He also garnered love from international fans after starring in the 2004 hit drama "Full House".
Rain is also a former member of the boy group Fanclub and current member of the project co-ed group SSAK3. In SSAK3, he uses the stage name B-RYONG.

Rain made his acting debut in the 2003 drama Sang Doo! Let's Go To School. His lead role in the pan-Asia hit drama Full House (2004) established his status as a Hallyu star.
