Actress Shruti Haasanhas been in the headlines lately after her breakup with Santanu Hazarika was made public. In an ask-me anything Instagram session with her fans, Shruti Haasan revealed that she is single now and will completely be focusing on her career alone.
The couple was dating for 4 years and lived together in Mumbai before they parted ways in March this year.Taking to Instagram last evening, the actress treated her fans to a small snippet of her latest composition.
The video features Shruti Haasan composing a piece on her piano, which is obviously sung and written by her. The song explains about self-love, breakups, and the road to recovery, and it has now left the fans of the actress thinking that it was hinting at her experience of life after separating from her ex-boyfriend, Santanu Hazarika.
Sharing the video, the actress captioned it, "I shut the door, and I ate the key. I won't need that anymore. Back to my free writing, and it feels so cathartic. I've been in a chaotic pond, swimming to the bottom, searching for light. I found sludge, moss, and a whole song. Life is brilliant and scary and beautiful and worth every bit of magic."
On the work front, Shruti Haasan was last seen in the Tamil music video 'Inimel' alongside Lokesh Kanagaraj. She is soon expected to start shooting for 'Salaar 2' that stars Prabhasand Prithviraj Sukumar in lead roles.

    Shruti Haasan (born 28 January 1986) is an Indian actress and singer who works in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil films. She is the recipient of various accolades, including two Filmfare Award South and seven South Indian International Movie Awards. Haasan has appeared in Forbes India'sCelebrity 100 list of 2015 and 2016.

    Born to actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan and actress Sarika Thakur, she worked briefly as a child artist. She made her acting debut as an adult with the Hindi film Luck (2009). She made her Telugu debut with Anaganaga O Dheerudu and Tamil debut with 7aum Arivu both (2011), winning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South for both. Haasan established herself in South Indian cinema with the Telugu films Gabbar Singh (2012), Balupu (2013), Yevadu (2014), Race Gurram (both 2014), Srimanthudu (2015), Premam (2016), Krack (2021) and Waltair Veerayya (2023). She won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu for Race Gurram.

    Haasan has also played the leading lady in the Tamil films, Vedalam (2015) and Si3 (2017), and the Hindi films Gabbar Is Back and Welcome Back (both 2015).     Haasan was born on 28 January 1986 to actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika Thakur in Madras (present-day Chennai) in a Tamil family. Her father is a TamilianBrahminIyengar, while her mother has Marathi and Rajput ancestry. Her parents got married when she was one and got divorced in 2004.

    Shruti Haasan is an Indian actress, composer and playback singer who works in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada films. Haasan sang her first song aged just six in her father's Thevar Magan, a composition of Ilaiyaraaja. While in school, Haasan made her singing debut in the Hindi language film Chachi 420, which was directed by her father. Haasan sang the bilingual versions of the title theme "Rama Rama" with her father, in Hindi and in Tamil, for the film Hey Ram. The album from Ilaiyaraaja, which was critically praised, won Haasan accolades for her efforts with Screen India saying that she "has the makings of a good singer, and with some training she should go great guns."
